Backyard Garden Week (1) July 6-9
We will explore the life cycle of plants using the Scientific Method, (question, research, hypothesis, experiment, conclusion, record.) Our specific focus will be edible plants and, how important they are to our daily lives. Through experiments, we will compare the ways that seeds germinate and chart their growth from seedling to consumption. The children will attend a workshop on planting, at Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Backyard Garden is a summer long project.

Pre-Historic Animals Week (2) July 12-16
